Thibault d'Auriol was born and raised in Hong Kong. He studied in Canada before attending the University of California, Berkeley. After graduating he moved to London, spending several years working in brand strategy and graphic design.

In 2025 he relocated to Lisbon, dedicating himself fully to photography and printmaking. His debut exhibition is forthcoming in Hong Kong in December 2026.

Growing up on an island shaped by the sea, he has always been drawn to the ocean, its depth, its indifference, its capacity to conceal entire worlds. That relationship runs through everything he makes.
